Max is a Watertown native and graduate of Sackets Harbor Central School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting and Mass Communications from SUNY Oswego in 2005. After nearly five years in sports journalism, he garnered a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Buffalo State College in 2012. He served as an assistant and associate director of annual giving at St. Lawrence University, before joining the Northern New York Community Foundation in 2013.

 

Max is an active participant and supporter in local organizations such as the Garrett W. Loomis Foundation and the Trisomy 21 Foundation of Northern New York. He resides in Watertown with his wife, Sara, and daughter, Grace.
